About Us
Project Sura is a child-led initiative founded by five students from around the world. Our goal is to encourage schools and other groups to establish trash walking clubs and extracurricular activities. We offer a platform for these clubs to share their trash walking experiences and collaborate on environmental projects.
The Problem
Our planet is in crisis. Oceans are suffocating from pollution, landfills are overflowing, and human-made waste scars our landscapes. Ecosystems are collapsing, and global CO2 levels continue to soar.
Despite significant progress in climate action and environmental protection, the situation remains dire. Efforts to curb carbon emissions and pollution are stalling, land degradation is worsening, and public support has failed to turn into adequate public action.

The current situation may seem depressing, but we believe that with proper public action, it can be reversed. By linking physical activity to environmental efforts through our sub-projects, we aim to inspire and mobilise the public.

Our Mission
Our mission at Project Sura is to link environmental efforts to physical activity through our sub-projects. By doing so, we aim achieve our goal of inspiring more people to participate in environmental initiatives. by doing so, we hope to contribute to increased public action on the climate crisis.
Our Solution
As detailed above, Project Sura proposes the solution of using various sub-projects to link environmental efforts to physical activity. We believe that this will help encourage more members of the public to participate in environmental efforts, and thus, increase public action in the current environmental crisis.
We plan to create a multitude of sub-projects to do this. The first and primary sub-project is:
Trash Walking
We believe that trash walking is a great activity that combines the healthy activity of walking, and the helpful activity of picking up trash. If we can mobilise enough people to go on trash walks, we believe that we can make an impact on the situation.
Thus, our first and primary sub-project at Project Sura focuses on trash walking. We aim to encourage schools and other groups from around the world to start trash walking clubs, extracurricular activities. To further support these clubs, we then provide them with a platform to share their trash walking experiences, connect with one another, and collaborate on environmental efforts.
